Unfamilar with the Chase Freedom card?
The Chase Freedom card is one of the best no annual fee cash back cards on the market. The Chase Freedom card offers 5% quarterly cashback bonus spending categories in very desirable areas such as groceries, gas stations, restaurants and more. You earn this cash back through Ultimate Rewards points which can be transferred to the premium Chase travel cards which gives you access to transfer partners and up to a 50% bonus on points when booking through the Chase travel portal. This makes your cash back worth between 50 to a 100% more in value.
If you don’t have the card yet, consider picking it up today! It’s an excellent first card for those starting out with credit card churning due to the Chase 5/24 rule. The Chase 5/24 rule is a new rule Chase has put in place, which means you will not be approved for certain Chase cards if you’ve been approved for more than 5 cards in the past 24 months. If you start out with this hobby, apply for Chase cards affected by this card first such as the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom, and Chase Freedom Unlimited.
The Chase Freedom card is easily one of my favorite no annual fee cards out there. While it’s not a card I put my everyday spend on, I do love earning up to 7,500 Ultimate Reward points per quarter. I think I’ll definitely be able to take advantage of this Q2 offer as my wife and I love cooking at home, which means a lot of spending at grocery stores.
